We are looking for a Traction Motor Electrical Engineer (m/f/d)
Mission
- Assume technical responsibility for railway traction electric machines, induction or permanent magnets.
- Write specifications clause by clause, identify gaps and adapt machine accordingly.
- Design electrical machines with consideration to mechanical, thermal and acoustic constraints
- Lead development activities within the engineering department and cooperate and collaborate with internal departments.
- Ensure the implementation of the projects according to the design for quality standards.
- Propose product improvements in terms of performance and reliability solutions
- Take charge of R & D topics in terms of results, in compliance with the required quality standards
Profile:
- Graduate studies MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering field specialised in electric machines
- Experience of 3 years in electric machines
- Experience in electromechanical field for electric machines
- Expert in simulation tools including Flux2D, Fluxmotor, Motor-CAD, Matlab
- Fluent in German and English
