Engineering Technician (m/f/d)

• Verify designs of new modules/products and analyze design for manufacturing (DFMA)
• Combine BOM strategy with manufacturing line
• Review design solutions interms of safety, ergonomics, tooling, Form-Fit-Function
• Create Work Instructions and production process steps
• Implement cost-efficient methods of assembly for all phases of product development and manufacturing
• Development of handoff package to allow product transition to high volume manufacturing
• Transfer production processes to suppliers (including traveling and training)
• Off- and On-side support for supplier
• Test Engineering activities like supporting test sequences and test fixture development assembly instruction creation, BOM and assembly verification for specific programs
• Implement new ideas and defining new ways of processes to reduce costs and assembly time

Qualifications:

• Technical education (HTL Elektronik/Mechatronik-Education preferred)
• MS office skills
• Experience on lean manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing methodologies preferred
• Hands on experience with CAD, NX or similar tools
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Self managed and proactive working style
• Work overtime when required
• Ability to travel to suppliers or other Lam locations

This position is subject to the AUSTRIAN Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group E.The minimum annual salary for the position is 41.390,02 EUR gross based on a full-time employment. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills.
