Research Scientist PDT Process Development (f/m/x)


  • Exploring innovative methods,projects and programs to improve the quality and efficient production of plasma-derived therapies for global and local distribution
  • Evaluation of new indications, new fractions, new products and any other processes of development
  • Cooperation with R&D departments
  • Oversight, design and coordination of project related experimental lab work in internal and external labs (e.g. writing experimental study plans and reports; communication of results within the team and across other functions)
  • Supporting technology transfer and scale up activities for processes,
  • Supporting the manufacturing departments


  • Master degree of chemistry, biochemistry, biology, biotechnology, chemical/process engineering or related fields
  • 5+ years of Pharm Sci pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience
  • Scientific knowledge in process development and about plasma derived therapies fractionation and purification processes
  • Good statistical competencies and computer skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good oral and written English and German communication skills
  • Ability to work independent and as part of a collaborative team
  • Working in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Excellent German and English skills

Remuneration corresponds to the respective classification according to the collective agreement for the chemical industry. The minimum salary for this position is € 2.644,- gross per month based on full-time employment. Possible increased payment is dependent on professional experience and/or qualifications. In addition Takeda offers many social benefits (e.g. canteen, wellness-center) to mention just a few of them. In the first step, the contract will be limited to 3 years.
